Pipe IQ

For Any Pipeline

Pipe IQ Brings Tomographic Visualization Directly into Pipelines

By mapping solids, deposits, and other process conditions inside the pipe, Pipe IQ brings clarity to what’s hidden.

The core idea is simple but powerful:

  • Prevent blockages before they occur
  • Optimize cleaning cycles and locations
  • Reduce downtime and energy waste
  • Save millions per plant every year through smarter operation

As a whole Pipe IQ is a breakthrough concept in pipeline monitoring: A tomographic instrument that can be installed on any pipe, at any time — without interrupting the process.

Because installation is fully non-invasive and cheap to install, measurement points can be added flexibly and cost-effectively, from just a few locations up to dozens or even hundreds across an entire plant.

This creates a distributed sensing network that delivers real tomographic imaging of your whole factory — revealing flow conditions, buildup, scaling, or moisture distribution that would otherwise remain invisible.

Pipe IQ turns every pipeline into a smart, self-reporting asset — protecting flow, cutting downtime, and unlocking massive cost savings.

ClampOn & InTouch & CalibrationHead — Modular by Design

  • ClampOn sensors attach externally to pipes or vessels, allowing for fully non-invasive installation without process interruption.
  • InTouch transducers, on the other hand, are mounted directly in contact with the process medium when higher signal penetration or sensitivity is needed. are modular units that can be mounted in direct contact with the process medium when higher signal penetration or sensitivity is required. They are designed to fit any pipeline material using standard components — no spool piece needed.
  • CalibrationHead is a special sensor module that can be inserted into the process while it is running. With a single InTouch adapter, the Calibration Head allows measurement of speed of sound, conductivity, and permittivity. It is only needed in demanding applications.

ClampOn

ClampOn instrumentation is fully non-invasive and non-intrusive.

Can be applied to any pipeline material and to < 160C.

Explore Technology

ClampOn

PREDIT has developed an intelligent ClampOn band that positions ultrasonic sensors precisely in the correct locations. It is easy to use, and the typical clamping time is less than one minute.

Explore Technology

InTouch

InTouch electrodes can be installed during turnaround periods or during operational time.

Our technology benefits from not requiring the manufacture of expensive spool pieces or heavy installations on-site.

Explore Technology

InTouch

InTouch is a fully modular solution that requires only a pipe adapter. It supports dozens of inspection points and can be read with a handheld device or installed as a 24/7 unit.

CalibrationHead

Calibration Head is a sensor unit that can be inserted into the process while it is running. With just one InTouch adapter, you can use the Calibration Head to measure: Speed of sound, Conductivity, and Permittivity. The Calibration Head is only needed in demanding applications.
